Topia Boutique Retreat Center is located in one of the most temperate microclimates of Baja California Sur, boasting moderate and comfortable temperatures ten out of twelve months of the year––even through July and August.
While many tropical regions grow too warm for comfort, Topia and the surrounding regions of Pescadero and Todos Santos remain comfortably warm all the way through August.
In fact, on July 25, the hottest day of the year, temperatures in Todos Santos typically range from 77°F to 93°F.
July & August: Dry, Temperate and Lovely
This time of year is generally dry, with pleasantly warm and starry evenings, few bugs, and striking sunsets. Summer dinners in our open-air kitchen––watching the brilliant hues of the sky as the sun sets over the Pacific––are some of the more memorable moments for our summer guests.
All the Fun without the Crowds
May through August are just as lovely as the busy season, and yet flights into San Jose del Cabo are generally more affordable.
Popular restaurants and shops are still open, and happy to receive customers during this low-traffick season. It is one of the most tranquil periods in the region––call it a best-kept secret.
The climate, especially in the mornings and late afternoon, is perfect for activities such as yoga, hiking, cycling, and horseback-riding. While the surf is smaller, there is a still a solid surf break for surfers of all levels at Cerritos Beach and San Pedrito. When the water is clamer, enjoy paddle boarding just past the Cerritos Beach break.
